Great Lakes Geoscience participates in environmental investigations both as a primary consultant or on a subcontractor basis where our unique experience is required. We have a multdisiplinary team that will review your site information and identify the potential risks and environmental liabilities associated with your project area. Our in-house expertise is in bedrock investigations and in areas that may be impacted by active and/or abandoned oil, natural gas and waters wells and infrastructure. We are uniquely qualified to complete your needs for Phase 1 and Phase 2 environmental assessments (ESA’s) in these areas. With our professional designations and experience we are “Qualified Persons” for environmental assessments (QPESA) and risk assessments (QPRA) as defined by O. Reg. 150/4, Ministry of Environment, Climate and Parks (MECP), EPA (168.5) and CSA.
Great Lakes consultants have “Certificates of Appointment” with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources & Forestry as Class 1 and 2 Examiners to inspect borehole drilling operations and oil & natural gas infrastructure.
