Great Lakes Geoscience utilizes its proprietary geological (GIS) database of over 26,000 wells to complete geological investigations on the sedimentary bedrock of Ontario. The investigations include and are not limited to geological mapping in 3D of formation structure, thickness and depth below surface. We have access to the bedrock samples from over 13,000 wells of which approximately 1,000 have cores and well records for over 26,000 boreholes. The rock samples, cores and records are stored at the Oil, Gas & Salt Resources Library in London. Ontario. The facility is equipped with a research lab for detailed examination of the rock samples and cores.
